The overview

When Jerusalem left the walls

For centuries, everyone lived crammed inside the Old City walls. Then, in the 19th century someone came along to change everything.

A tour of Jerusalem outside the walls brings an eclectic mix of ancient and recent history just next door to each other. From kever David on Mount Zion, to the first station, from the German Colony to the King David Hotel - so many stories waiting to be told. Are you ready?
